<p>TMDXEVM6474 is an evaluation board developed for Texas Instruments’ ARM9- based TMDSEMU6474 System-on-Chip (SoC). This solution is designed with an extensive set of components and interfaces to facilitate development, validation, and testing of applications for ARM9-based embedded, MCU and DSP applications. </p><p>The TMDXEVM6474 board enables designers to quickly evaluate the performance of the TMDSEMU6474 SoC and easily evaluate all the features and peripherals that are incorporated on the TMDSEMU6474 SoC. This board integrates an ARM9-based processor core, external memory controller, an advanced timer-counter module, two 128KB of on-chip ROM, 1KB of on-chip RAM, direct memory access (DMA) controller, on-chip cache, serial ports, GPIO, analog-to-digital converter (ADC), I2C, as well as other communication interfaces.</p><p>The TMDXEVM6474 application field is very wide, including industrial automation, medical device, digital consumer electronics, automotive, home and office automation, networking and communications, network security and power system automation.</p><p>This evaluation board can be used for designing and developing new ARM processors applications. It comes with bundled IDE support, sample programs, libraries, evaluation software, reference designs, and application notes, to provide comprehensive support for a variety of ARM-based applications and development platforms.</p><p>The working principle of TMDXEVM6474 is fairly simple. The board provides designers a complete chip-based evaluation environment for TMDSEMU6474 SoC.
