The device has an integrated high-voltage input (VIN+ and VIN-) that can be used to detect sudden voltage drops and disrupts. Its over-voltage modes are higher and more accurate than ever, providing the device with improved protection.Thanks to its integrated temperature range select feature, the TPS3305-33DGNRG4 provides excellent tolerance to temperature variations. This feature allows the user to choose between three different temperature ranges to get accurate voltage monitoring and to maximize the reliability of the system. The over-temperature monitor feature monitors the temperature of the system and provides a locking signal if the temperature exceeds the acceptable limits. The temperature threshold and the hysteresis are adjustable with the external resistor.The TPS3305-33DGNRG4 also contains robust protection for overcurrent and overvoltage. The overvoltage mode monitors the system voltage continuously and prevents the power supply from over-charging the system. The device can detect when the voltage is above certain level, and then provide a signal to shut off the system power. The overcurrent protection prevents current surges in the system.
