Working Principle
The TPS3837J25QDBVRQ1 is an active-low supervisors device, capable of monitoring up to four voltages in a polyphase system. Using an internal voltage reference, it allows active-low reset signals to be driven when the voltage is below a specified threshold, providing reliable system protection even when the device is operating at elevated temperatures.This device contains four independent supervisors with up to four outputs each. When the monitored voltage drops below the set threshold, the outputs are driven low, indicating a need for system reset. For each supervisor, the independent voltage reference input sets the voltage threshold. The supervisor also includes a fault detection pin for detecting when a circuit breaker has tripped.In addition, the device provides excellent accuracy and response times, with a wide slew rate (0.3V/µs to 10V/µs) and fast settling times (<20ms). It also has an integrated NFET transistor with a low-current pull-down, which allows active low reset signals to be driven during a soft-start reset. This device is capable of supporting up to eight output pins, allowing greater flexibility in system design. Finally, the TPS3837J25QDBVRQ1 is equipped with universal overvoltage/undervoltage protection, adjustable watchdog timer, and slew-rate limited inputs, making it an ideal choice for applications that require high levels of reliability and accuracy.
