The TPS3897PDRYT Supervisory Circuits is a current-limited, reverse-current blocking and latch-off device with very lowoperating current and wide VCC range. The TPS3897PDRYT offers a precision delay instead of the fixed delay found in most power supervisor products, allowing the user to customize both the trip-point and response time. It offers temperature-compensated delay and second-level trip point making it ideal for hot spot protection in fault tolerant system designs. The supervisor also features loss of reference detection, an open drain reset output, and a digital output for voltage monitoring.

The TPS3897PDRYT is designed for applications such as portable electronic devices and peripherals, systems with distributed power supplies, and telecommunications and networking equipment. Working Principle

The TPS3897PDRYT supervisory circuits are designed to continuously monitor the power supplies of distributed power systems.
