TPS40055EVM-001 is an evaluation board used to evaluate the performance of the TPS40055 boost converter in a variety of applications. The TPS40055 is a 600-V, 4-A rated, synchronous variable frequency controller with adjustable current limit, allowing for a maximum output voltage of 70 V. It is also capable of providing up to 100 kHz switching frequency for very efficient operation.

The TPS40055EVM-001 application field is ideal for a range of energy-related applications, such as solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, DC-to-DC converters, LED lighting, motor drives, power conditioners, and battery management systems.
