The TPS40090PWR is a synchronous buck controller featuring a supply voltage tracking system that allows for accurate feedback for the output voltage, enabling high efficiency operation at both low and high currents. The integrated regulator can also be used to provide a system reference voltage or, alternatively, to add a logic supply voltage.

The device features a programmable frequency and an adjustable duty cycle for both the high-side and low-side switches.The integrated Slew Rate Control (SRC) feature ensures that the voltage across the output inductor remains within acceptable limits.In addition, the device integrates the correct temperature derating for both the high and low sides.
