The TPS717XXEVM-134 is an evaluation board for the TPS717 family of ultra-low noise, low-dropout linear regulators (LDOs). TPS717 regulators are ideally suited for low-power applications requiring up to 1A of output current. The extended input and output ranges of the TPS717 family make it well suited for applications requiring alternative input sources such as USB, industrial process automation, and consumer portable devices. The TPS717XXEVM-134 evaluation board provides all the necessary components needed to evaluate the performance of the TPS717 family and also allows the user to evaluate other aspects such as load and line transients. This evaluation board can be used to evaluate the TPS717xx family of linear voltage regulators as well as the recommended SVID2LSB0 and SVID2LSB1 switching regulators.

The TPS717XXEVM-134 evaluation board provides a convenient platform for evaluation of the TPS717xx family of linear voltage regulators. It is configured to provide up to 1 A of output current from an input voltage 5 to 15 V. The evaluation board contains all the necessary components needed to evaluate the performance of the TPS717xx family and allows the user to evaluate other aspects such as load and line transients. The evaluation board is populated with a TPS717xx device, an operational amplifier, two differentials capacitors, two oscillators, an EMI filter and a heatsink. The evaluation board has three potentiometers to adjust the output voltage and the output current limit and four LED calibration indicators to help the user adjust the voltage and current settings. The board also contains circuitry for current and temperature monitoring which help the user to monitor the performance of the regulator.

The TPS717XXEVM-134 evaluation board provides a complete evaluation platform for the TPS717xx family of low-dropout linear regulators (LDOs).
