This reduces output current surges and eliminates input current overshoots during start-up, and also reduces the audible noise of the power-up. With a wide operating temperature, the TPS82672SIPR can operate in as wide temperature range as -40°C to +125°C, giving it a reliable operation and a longer lifetime. The on-chip under-voltage lockout and over-voltage protection also give it a better immunity against disturbances.
