The device provides gain of up to 4 dB. The device features an adjustable bias current and integrated temperature compensation for stable operation over a wide temperature range. The integrated temperature compensation feature eliminates the need for external temperature sensing components.The TRF1223IRTMR is designed with an internally matched 50 Ω pass-through port allowing simple connection of the device to a coax cable. To minimize reflection, a 50 Ω matched, drain-source resistor is connected to the output port. The output of the device is provided by a SMA female connector as well as two ferrules to accept a coax cable.The working principle of TRF1223IRTMR is based on the principle of an 802.11 wireless Access Point (AP). The device receives an input signal, typically a Wi-Fi signal, then amplifies it and sends it on to a Wi-Fi router or repeater. The signal is then passed onto other Wi-Fi connected devices. The signal can be amplified up to 4 dB and can reach an antenna that is a few hundred meters away from the device.The TRF1223IRTMR device is highly efficient and power saving.
