TRF3750IPWR is a high-performance, high-resolution step-synthesizer die from Texas Instruments that uses fractional-N frequency synthesis. A user-defined modulation input allows the output to be changed by an external digital or analog signal.

When using the TRF3750IPWR, an external clock source is used to drive the VCO, typically in the range of 10MHz to 20MHz. The VCO output is then divided by the pre-programmed divider sub-range, providing an accurate output frequency that is adjustable within the range of the sub-range for fine-tuning.
