The TRF3761-JIRHAT clock generator, PLL, and frequency synthesizer is a highly integrated, multiple-output clock generator and frequency synthesizer that supports a variety of applications. It is a low power, programmable and easy-to-use clock source ideal for use in a wide range of embedded applications including digital TV, automotive electronics, and telecom.

The TRF3761-JIRHAT can generate output frequencies ranging from 0.6MHz to 1.8GHz and has an excellent phase noise performance of -83dBc/Hz in a 10MHz bandwidth. The device offers a wide variety of output frequencies, ranging from low-frequency 2MHz crystal reference clock signals to high-frequency radio frequency (RF) clocks. In addition, the device supports dual output phases, clock synthesis from a crystal reference or from an external input clock, or programmable frequency synthesizing from an internal clock source. This makes it ideal for use in applications such as reference clock synthesis, frequency synthesis, frequency step size adjustment, and timing systems. The device also supports selectable output drive strength, which enables it to be used for low-skew clock distribution applications.

The TRF3761-JIRHAT includes a fully integrated frequency synthesizer, phase locked loop (PLL), and voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) core that allows the device to generate exact output frequencies according to a wide range of application requirements. The device has a low-power sleep mode that allows it to be used in battery-powered applications. The device is also configurable via a standard two-wire interface, allowing for easy programming.
