Working Principle

As a linear amplifier, the TS1874IYDT is designed to increase the power of a signal while preserving both the frequency response and relative strength of the signal’s original waveform. It uses an open-loop voltage amplifier circuit to increase incoming voltage signals. The amplifier is configured with input and output ports where an input signal is amplified and heard at the output. The amplifier requires a minimum amount of current (IdB) to bias the input transistors. As the current passes through the circuit, it divides about Hfe (the voltage gain or ‘transimpedance’) into the output port.
