A pressure sensor, also known as a pressure transducer, is a unit that measures the pressure of liquids, gases, fluids, and other materials within a system.

This voltage drop is received at the opposite ends of the transducer, one which senses the pressure changes and other which senses the temperature changes. When the pressure is applied to the sensor, it causes the resistance in the left side of the bridge to change, thereby resulting in an amplified resistance which is proportional to the applied pressure. This signal is further converted into an electrical voltage signal and is sent to the output terminal of the pressure transducer.
