PMIC - Motor Drivers, Controllers
UC2625MNEP is a high-voltage half-bridge gate driver optimized for 1.8V to 5V VCC and 48V to 600V VB input. This driver is designed for use in motor control, robot control, high power motor inverter, motor positioning, power switching and low power motor control applications. The UC2625MNEP is available in a 16-pin SOIC package.
The UC2625MNEP is primarily composed of two full bridge half-bridges. The gate drivers for each half-bridge output a 2A maximum gate drive, with a maximum propagation delay of ~500ns. The enable pin provides enable and disable functions, allowing for control of the high side and low side gate outputs. The current sensing pin facilitates current sensing for use in current-controlled motor systems.
The UC2625MNEP contains a charge pump and level shifting circuits to enable the low side outputs, reduce shoot-through noise, and provide a low-offset threshold voltage. The charge pump design ensures the gate driver has the ability to drive signals with a wide range of overvoltage and undervoltage applications. The low-offset threshold voltage allows for response times that are significantly faster than those of competitive devices.
The UC2625MNEP also has EMI protection circuitry built into the device. The EMI protection circuit limits the output-pulse switching noise up to 30MHz, making it suitable for use in high-power applications. The EMI protection also helps reduce the effect of EMI-related noise on other circuits in the system.
The UC2625MNEP is an ideal solution for high-voltage and high-power applications that require accurate control and efficient power switching.
