UC3705DG4 consists of 4 channels, each channel with a logic-controlled high-side switch, 1.2A peak current, 6.5V rated voltage, integrated short-circuit protection, adjustable dead-time and three pole drivers. All drivers are controlled by the same logic input, but each output can be independently controlled to reduce power dissipation. It also features an adjustable switching frequency with a range of 10KHz to 1.2MHz, adjustable slew rate from 0.5V/us to 30V/us, adjustable input voltage from 0V to 20V, adjustable dead-time from 0.5µs to 200µs, and soft start up to 1.8µs.
The UC3705DG4 works on an very advanced and efficient principle. It is able to rapidly activate and deactivate the high-side, low-side and logic inputs, providingan efficient switching operation. Its circuitry includes a dedicated logic input and output buffer amplifiers, resistive-element gates that can act as active switches and a number of thermal protection features.
