The UCC38C45D is a versatile, high speed, load controlled switching controller, designed to speed up the response of a double pulse-width modulation (DPWM) system. Among other tasks, it can be used to control a wide variety of DC-DC switching regulators, including buck, boost, flyback, input overlap, multi-mode and complementary pulse width modulation (CMPWM) converters.

The UCC38C45D is a self-stabilizing, monolithic oscillator with pulse width-modulated (PWM) output. It has an adjustable frequency with a range of up to 1.5MHz. The UCC38C45D features adaptive load control, and can be used in both buck and boost configurations. It also has a programmable and adjustable cycle-by-cycle peak current limit.

The UCC38C45D also has a built-in Burst Mode® controller, which helps reduce the converter\'s quiescent current under no-load and light-load operation. This helps save power and increase system efficiency. In addition to these features, the UCC38C45D has flexible synchronization capabilities, as well as a wide range of programmable functions that enable customers to tailor the IC to their specific requirement.
