Aluminum electrolytic capacitors, which are commonly referred to as electrochemical capacitors or simply “electrolytics” are polarized capacitors whose principal active material is an electrolyte, usually in the form of an organic solvent infused with metal salts. They are the most widely used type of capacitor due to their low cost, high-energy density, high capacitance and long life. The UPJ1C561MPD is a high performance, surface mount aluminum electrolytic capacitor that has been specifically designed for applications such as decoupling, low-frequency and high frequency filtering, amplitude modulation, oscillation, and switching power supply. This capacitor has been engineered to provide both low impedance and high capacitance ratings and is available in a variety of sizes and configurations.
