Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors
An aluminum electrolytic capacitor, or commonly known as an aluminium electro is an electrical capacitor with an aluminum oxide film as the dielectric, typically on a cylindrical or plain all-tantalum capacitor both positive, and most commonly, as negative. Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are generally used in applications where large capacitance values are needed, including power supply filtering, motor start circuits and power factor correction.
