Working Principle

The working principle of aluminum electrolytic capacitors relies on the fact that aluminum and tantalum are good conductors of electricity and can be used to store and release energy. An electrolyte material separates two electrodes, usually aluminum (anode) and tantalum (cathode). The anode consists of aluminum foil stored with an inorganic compound that forms anionic groups.
