For the working principle, USA1A330MDD aluminum electrolytic capacitor is a polarized capacitor with two electrodes —an anode and a cathode which are separated by an electrolyte. A voltage applied across the anode and the cathode will form an electrical field which causes electrical current flow, then a built up electrostatic field will appear inside the capacitor. This electrostatic field is applied to the oxide layer on the anode foil and will break the oxide layer into positive and negative charges. The negative charge will be attracted to the anode and the positive charge to the cathode. The amount of charge created is directly proportional to the amount of current passing through the capacitor.
