USB260-M3/5BT is a diode rectifier module produced by Weihai Huazhongji Electrical Co., Ltd (WHZJ). It is suitable for the isolated power supply electronic synchronous rectification in solar cell, wind power, new energy and other fields.

This device is mainly composed of three parts: the radiator, the rectifier module and the aluminium box. The radiator made of aluminium can effectively reduce the temperature of the rectifier module, thereby improving its reliability and service life. The rectifier module is composed of two silicon controlled rectifiers in series, two diodes in parallel, a pulse transformer and an optocoupler. The aluminium box can accurately and securely fix the internal components.

The application field and working principle of USB260-M3/5BT can be divided into two parts. First, it is mainly used for isolated power supply electronic synchronous rectification and the principle is to use two silicon-controlled rectifiers and two ordinary diodes in the diode bridge, which form the bridge rectifier, while the pulse transformer and the optocoupler form the output voltage detection circuit. When the output voltage is within the allowable range, the circuit only works in the free-running state and the synchronous rectification is not performed thus ensuring that the output of the power supply has a good AC waveform.

Second, the rectifier module can be used to ensure that the power supply output high power can accurately and effectively reach the load side, while reducing the power loss of electronic synchronization rectification. When the load side needs the rated power, the pulse transformer and the optocoupler monitor the voltage changes and send the signals to the two SCRs, accordingly the two SCRs start to inject the power of the phase power supply into the load side, and at the same time, the two ordinary diodes in the bridge rectifier will be blocked and turn into a non-conductive state, which will ensure the same current to pass through the two SCRs at the same time, thus avoiding unnecessary power loss.
