The V10150CHM3/4W is an integrated device for rectifier diodes and arrays. It allows for a highly efficient rectifier system with multiple protection and control capabilities. The word “rectifier” implies, that a device is used to convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC). Due to its low forward voltage drop, the V10150CHM3/4W can rectify voltage from a low level, such as 12V to a higher level, such as 24V or greater.
The device consists of two arrays of diode bridges, allowing for simultaneous shore connection and shore-to-battery connection. One block is for the shore AC supply, and the other for the battery connection. The device does not require the use of any additional support components like capacitors or inductors, making it very simple to use and efficient. Furthermore, the device has a built-in overcurrent protection circuit, enabling it to provide protection against short circuits, eliminating the need for additional protection components.
The device works by turning on the two switch ports of the diode array whenever AC voltage is received from the shore. This allows the device to rectify the supplied AC power to DC power, increasing the voltage from 12V to 24V or greater, depending on the AC voltage provided by the shore supply. The overcurrent protection circuit also helps to protect the device from any excessive current draw situations. Whenever the excess current is detected, it shuts off the two switch ports, limiting the current of 80amps.
The V10150CHM3/4W is ideal for high power rectification applications, such as in solar power systems, battery charging systems, automotive systems, industrial systems and other power electronics. Its low forward voltage drop combined with its built-in protection capability makes it a reliable and efficient solution for rectifying AC power to DC. With its wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, the V10150CHM3/4W is suitable for a variety of operating environments.
