TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressors) – Varistors, MOVs (Metal Oxide Varistors) is a useful tool for the protection of electronic circuits from various electrical transients caused by voltage surges. Basically, when an excessive voltage is applied to the device, it acts as a “clamp”, limiting the voltage to only the rated voltage level.

The application of the V130LA20C in many cases includes the protection of line-powered devices such as computers, modems, televisions, ovens and more.
