Working principle of V300B12T250BL3

The working principle of V300B12T250BL3 is based on the switching power technology. It is designed with a power transistor which turns on and off at a regular switching frequency according to the control signal. When the power transistor is turned on, a portion of input energy is stored into the inductor. Then, the energy is transferred from the inductor onto the output. The controlling accuracy of output voltage is mainly determined by the on-time and off-time of power transistor. A voltage feedback signal from the output of V300B12T250BL3 to the feedback pin(FB) is generated, and then sent into the internal back voltage sensing circuit for comparison. If it is lower than the reference voltage, the internal comparator decides to output the higher high-level signal; whilst, it the voltage is higher, the comparator decides to output the lower low-level signal and turn off the power transistor. This process is a control loop and keeps the DC output voltage stable.In addition, the power transistor of V300B12T250BL3 is also kept on as long as no signal is received from the feedback pin. When a frequency voltage signal lower than 0.4V is applied to the feedback pin, an internal timer will be triggered to reset the chip and delay its starting time.
