Working Principle

The V420LA10PX2855 is a full gap series, unidirectional device. It is designed to protect electronic components from transient (or high energy) voltages and currents. When a voltage or current spike (or surge) occurs, the varistor’s metal oxide rapid semiconductor material absorbs the energy and conducts it via the linking plate.
