The VCA2617EVM (Voltage-Controlled Amplifier Evaluation Module) is an evaluation board for the op-amps of the VCA2617 family. It is a multi-mode voltage-controlled amplifier (VCA) with additional augmentation of low-noise, low-distortion performance and a wide frequency range. These features make it suitable for a variety of applications in the professional audio and high-fidelity consumer audio markets.

The VCA2617EVM provides one eight-pin dual-channel VCA2617 op-amp package in a single-layer PCB design. It also includes external components, such as resistors, capacitors, connectors, and jumper headers, to ensure the correct operation of the amplifier within a wide range of voltages. The EVM board is compatible with a standard DIP package and other amp packages with similar pinouts.

This board can be used in many different audio applications, including sound reinforcement systems, musical instrument amplifiers, and loudspeaker crossovers.
