The VMM1000-01P is an array of 16 Field Effect Transistors (FETs) built into a single package. It is a member of the Vishay BE semiconductor family of FET arrays, consisting of P-channel and N-channel FETs in a low-cost package.

The VMM1000-01P is intended for use as an amplifier, voltage regulator, switch, buffer, driver and other applications requiring an array of FETs to be operated from a single control. It is especially suited for use in systems where an array of multiple FETs is used for power control.

The VMM1000-01P is composed of sixteen FETs, each consisting of a source, gate, and drain. The source is connected to the VDD/GND power and ground pins. The gate is connected to one of four control input pins. The drain is connected to one of four output pins. The four control inputs are each capable of controlling four of the sixteen FETs (96 FETs in total).

The VMM1000-01P can be operated in two different modes: “parallel” and “simultaneous”. In “parallel” mode, the VDD and GND pins of the FETs are connected together, allowing the gates of the FETs to be energized simultaneously. In “simultaneous” mode, each of the four control inputs can be used to energize any combination of four FETs. This provides the flexibility of selecting any combination of four FETs for any particular application.

The VMM1000-01P can be used for many applications, including driving shift-registers, analog switches, and serial-to-parallel shifters. It can also be used to provide over-voltage protection, current limit protection, and current limit protection with burst mode.
