Working Principle of WLG2-55LD-NS

The WLG2-55LD-NS snap action, limit switch has an actuating lever along with a plunger that is generally in an open or a "no contact" status. As soon as it is pushed, the contact moves quickly, hitting the actuator. This triggers the switch itself, forming connexion that causes a circuit to close. Once the lever is released, the plunger returns to its initial open or "no contact" state.

The actuator of the WLG2-55LD-NS snap action, limit switch can also be operated via magnetic attraction. It has a built-in magnet which, once attracted by a certain force, results into the closure of the switch allowing electricity to pass through the circuit.

The WLG2-55LD-NS switch includes a contact board that displays the Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) circuits. The NO circuit is attached to one contact, the other side being attached to the NC circuit. The continuity of the two contacts will identify if the switch is open or closed.
