Data acquisition is a process of gathering and processing data from sensors and transducers. The essential components of a data acquisition system are the analog front end (AFE), the processor, and the memory. One of the key components in any AFE is the Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC). The WM8255BGEFL/V is an ultra-low power, low voltage CMOS ADC designed for use in data acquisition systems.
