PMIC or Power Management Integrated Circuit is increasingly finding its way into current range of electronics. Supervisors refer to circuitry that monitors output signals from other integrated circuits in order to make sure everything is working correctly. The X4165PZ-4.5A is a supervisor designed to provide protection and monitoring capabilities with an emphasis on improved circuit efficiency.
The 4.5A X4165PZ-4.5A combines two different protection features into a single unit. The first is over-voltage protection (OVP), which will activate when the voltage of the circuit being monitored exceeds a certain level.
