The XC1765EPD8I is an 8-pin Flash Configuration PROM, with in-system programming (ISP) capability, designed for Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) configuration. It is designed to be used in conjunction with Xilinx\'s XC4000, XC5000, XQR3000 and XQR4000 families of FPGA. This PROM enables these FPGA devices to be configured with a desired logic function permanently stored in this PROM. The logic function is also called the configuration bitstream.

The PROM device is designed to use low voltage programming levels that facilitate FPGA programming in circuit, making the ISP operations very simplified.
