XR2206DTR-F is an integrated high-performance monolithic function generator chip, integrating stable performance and high accuracy. The complete single-chip function generator integrated with the XR2206DTR-F chip includes the following main functions: voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), phase-locked loop (PLL), linear frequency sweep, adjustable frequency divider. The XR2206DTR-F chip is embedded in a 14-pin dual in-line plastic package package. The operating temperature range is from -20°C to 75°C.
Application Field
XR2206DTR-F has a wide range of applications.It is mainly used for function generation,frequency sweep generator, FM modulation generator, pulse width modulation generator,phase noise detector and other applications requiring precise voltage-controlled oscillator or frequency sweep. It is suitable for radio engineering and multiplexing, digital communication and communication application fields such as navigation and distance measurement.
Working Principle
The XR2206DTR-F works on a fixed frequency range of 0.5 Hz to 1 MHz by using an accurate external resistor and capacitor network. The internal voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) is contained in the phase-locked loop (PLL), using a fixed offset table to control frequency deviation. The internal linear frequency sweep is completed by switching between Offset Table 1 and Offset Table 2. The upper and lower frequency limits can be adjusted using external capacitor networks. The XR2206DTR-F has an adjustable frequency divider which can provide accurate frequency division of 1 Hz to 8 MHz. It can work with an external crystal for frequency control. The XR2206DTR-F contains a low-noise amplifier and an attenuator, which can adjust the gain and output waveforms.
