XR8052ASO8X is a wearable, Bluetooth enabled, medical-grade electrocardiogram (ECG) amplifier from Sunma Electronics, boasting a small form factor and ultra-low power consumption ideal for a variety of medical, fitness and wellness applications.

The XR8052ASO8X features multiple gain settings and a wide dynamic range, up to ±16 mV, to accommodate large anatomical variations across multiple patient populations. The XR8052ASO8X is designed to amplify weak biological signals more than a million times, up to ±16 mV, allowing accurate analysis and measurement. The XR8052ASO8X is a high-performance, low voltage and low power consumed low noise amplifier, which is ideal for wearable medical and fitness applications. With its small form factor and ultra-low power consumption, the device utilizes a data logging system with a bulit-in clock, eliminating the need for external components. The device also features selectable gain settings and a wide dynamic range.

The XR8052ASO8X works on the principle of AC coupling. It features an input amplifier, a voltage follower, a current source and an output buffer/driver. The input amplifier amplifies a weak signal from the ECG sensor. The voltage follower is used to drive a buffer circuit, which is used to improve the fidelity of the output signal, and for isolation of the amplifier from the load. The current source provides a constant current and maintains the peak value of the amplified signal. The output buffer and the driver together offer over-voltage and over-current protection.
