The microcontroller operates on a single level of real time interrupts which can be used to service external requests from peripheral devices or other processor systems. Interrupts can be used for timing, signal capture, signal generation, or other user-defined functions.The internal peripherals allow the microcontroller to interface with components such as LCD, keypads, data converters, and memory devices.
