The ZLDO1117G15TA is a Linear Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) voltage regulator designed to deliver a constant voltage of up to 15V.It is especially suitable for the regulation of loads at high frequency and high current in medium power applications such as notebook computers, LCD displays and cell phones. Its PWM output voltage can be varied in response to changing conditions, making it ideally suited for applications requiring flexible voltage ranges.The ZLDO1117G15TA integrates a control IC and a MOSFET switch in a single package, making it much smaller and easier to use than a discrete device. It also uses a built-in over current detection circuit to protect the load from excessive current flow, increasing the reliability of the regulator.The ZLDO1117G15TA\'s PWM output voltage is generated by a three-stage voltage regulation process. The first stage is a voltage sensing stage that detects the voltage level of the load. The next stage is a comparator stage in which the sensed voltage is compared to a reference voltage. The reference voltage is set by a voltage divider or external voltage input.The last stage is a drive stage that controls the pulse width of the output signal and determines the output voltage.
