The SI5340B-B03918-GM is an advanced clock generator, phase-locked loop (PLL) and frequency synthesizer from Silicon Laboratories. It offers unmatched timing jitter performance with low jitter buffer output clocks and provides a truly system-level solution for applications such as oscillators, communications, industrial, medical and broadcast.
At the heart of the SI5340B-B03918-GM lies a high performance frequency synthesizer stage that generates low-jitter clock signals. This frequency synthesizer stage allows the SI5340B-B03918-GM to operate with a wide input frequency range, enabling it to accommodate different system requirements.
The SI5340B-B03918-GM operates across a wide frequency range of 10 kHz to 1.2 GHz and provides differential clock outputs that feature either low input jitter or high-frequency synchronization. The wide-range frequency synthesizer stage allows the device to generate an output frequency up to five times the reference frequency with frequency resolution of approximately 0.1%.
