IntroductionTheTPS7A39EVM-865, manufactured by Texas Instruments (TI), is a general-purpose evaluation board to evaluate the capabilities of TI’s TPS7A39 linear voltage regulator (LVR). The board measures 75×30 mm in size and features an arrow pointing to the output voltage selection jumpers. The entire system can be powered via USB or wall outlet.On the back edge of the board meter runs an optimized feedback loop with an open-loop gain of 40 dB. The board also includes a thermistor to measure temperature inside the package and an on-board precision analog amplifier for monitoring and diagnosis purposes.
