How to detect and repair ceramic filters?

Detection

( 1 ) It is estimated that the resistance value of RX10k2 is infinite, and if the measured value deviates too much, the reading is very small, which belongs to short circuit fault.

(2). The Darlington tube was measured with a Darlington tube. The concrete way is to put the multimeter to the RX10k gear. Two transistors (such as 3DG6 and 3DG201A) are connected to Layton tube and then connected to a multimeter.

When measuring, the two forms are connected to the two pins of the ceramic filter to be measured. If the multimeter pointer swings a little to the right, it returns to infinity, indicating that the filter is good. If the table pointer does not move, the broken line of the measured element is damaged; if the resistance of the two pins is measured, the resistance of the two pins is very good.

If the resistance is small, indicating that the element is short circuited and damaged. The operation should be noted: before each measurement, the two pins of the ceramic filter should be short circuited in order to release the internal charge  the Darlington tube enlargement coefficient is high and the hand does not touch the two pins of the measured component in order to avoid affecting the measurement results.

 

Repair

( 1 ) Shearing method for three-terminal ceramic filter, can be cut to lose or output of the foot.

For example, 1 foot and 3 feet leakage, can be cut to 1 foot, keep 3 feet do not move, and then in 1 foot and 2 feet between  a few hundred ohms resistance, it can restore its role in the circuit.

( 3 ) The electric shock filter is used to detect the leakage of two feet, and the voltage of 100 ~ 400V in black and white TV can be used when the resistance value of a multimeter is less than 12, we can also use the 110V DC supply voltage in the color TV to give electric shock to the two feet of the leakage. The operation is fast and can be repeated many times until the resistance between the two feet is greater than 10MΩ. One end of the ceramic trap can be interchanged with the three-terminal ceramic trap. There is no big effect on the performance of the circuit.
