How to repair the loudspeaker after it is damaged?

From the outside, it is observed that whether the iron frame of the loudspeaker is rusty : whether the paper basin is damp or not.

( 1 ) Check and develop the  equipment from the appearance structure, and the connection can be connected with the non-anti-blending and pure welding, if it is necessary, it should be connected and it will crack and shift and check the strength of its magnetic force with a screwdriver close to the magnet.

 ( 2 ) The test of coil and impedance will put the multimeter in RX1 block, touch the terminal with two stylus, and hear the obvious " cackle " sound, it shows that the coil is not open. If the measured impedance is close to that of the standard impedance, it can be seen that the loudspeaker is good if the actual resistance is much smaller than the nominal resistance, it shows that there is an inter-turn short circuit in the loudspeaker coil; if the resistance is infinite, it is possible that the opening or terminal of the coil may be disconnected, soldered or virtual welded, which can be welded.

( 3 ) Distortion of sound is mainly caused by the broken of the paper basin and the demagnetization of the voice coil and the magnetic steel, which should be replaced generally ( the paper basin is slightly cracked and can be repaired by glue ). For the horn loudspeaker, the same type of voice coil can be used to replace the voice coil. When using, we should pay attention to the difference between the concave film and the convex membrane. When substituting, the convex film can be used to replace the concave film, the method is that the convex part can be pressed down, but the concave film can not replace the convex film; when installing the sound film, the magnetic powder in the magnetic steel should be cleaned first; when screws are screwed, the angle should be screwed to prevent deformation.

( 4 ) Speaker replace

1)Note the caliber and shape of the loudspeaker. The caliber of the new and old speakers should be the same as possible, otherwise there may be none way to install it.


2) Pay attention to the impedance of the loudspeaker. Impedance matching cannot be too different. When the load impedance decreases, the output power increases, and the output current increases, which may damage the power amplifier stage. Pay attention to the rated power of the loudspeaker. The power of the loudspeaker should be the same as possible, for example, the output power of the amplifier is not matched, and the loudspeaker or function level is damaged. In addition to the above three, the selection should also pay attention to the electrical performance of the speaker, that is, the requirements of small distortion, good frequency characteristics and high sensitivity.
