How to detect the Field effect transistor quality and replace the bad one ?

  1. Most of the main boards used are N-channel MOS tubes. This article explains the detection methods of N-channel MOS transistors.


① The three poles of the MOS diodes are briefly connected to discharge.

② The multimeter is adjusted to the diode block.

③The D pole of the MOS tube is contacted by the black meter pen, and the S pole of the MOS tube is contacted by the red meter pen, and the value of the S pole of the MOS tube is about 500.

④The value should be infinitely large when the meter pen contacts the G,S pole or the G,D pole.

⑤ If the value of the pole other than the MOS indicates that the MOS tube is not good.

⑥ The value of 0 between any two poles indicates the short circuit of the MOS tube.

⑦The D,S-pole is measured and the value of the table pen is not changed to indicate the open circuit of the MOS.

 

2. MOS tube replacement method.

①Sometimes,09N03 06N03 can replace the N channel MOS tube used on the mainboard of desktop computer.

    ②The MOS tube in the CPU power supply of the waste motherboard can basically replace the MOS tube in the other position of the motherboard.

③Replace attention to see the field transistor model, some regulators and transistors are also long and MOS tube.

④ASUS and part of mainboard CPU powered lower pipe using LD1010D. LD1014D is a junction tube and cannot be replaced by N channel MOS tube.
