How to choose the switch of the mechanical multimeter when measuring different parameters?

Last Update Time: 2019-01-27 14:57:27

1) Measuring resistance:

The transfer switch is set to R × 1 ~ R × 10kΩ gear.

2) Measure AC voltage:

switch switch to 10-1000V gear

3) Measuring DC voltage:

The transfer switch is set to 0.25-1000V gear. If the high voltage is measured, insert the test lead into the 2500V jack.

4) Measure DC current:

The transfer switch is set to 0.25~247mA. If measuring a large current, insert the “positive” (red) test lead into the “5A” hole, and the negative (black) test pen should also be inserted in the original position.

5) Measure the transistor magnification,

The gear switch is first dialed to ADJ to adjust the zero, so that the pointer points to the right zero position, then turn the gear to the hFE block, insert the semiconductor transistor into the NPN or PNP socket, read the 5th line which is the value of the triode magnification.

6) Measure the load current I and the load voltage U, either using any of the electrical blocking.

7) The measurement ofthe audio level dB should use the AC voltage block.
