Capacitors are widely used in various circuits. To detect the capacitance, the capacitance meter should be used.

Now the digital capacitance meter is widely used, and the digital capacitance meter is a digitalization instrument specially used for measuring the capacitance. The digital capacitance meter has the advantages of wide measuring range, high resolution and small measuring error.

This section describes the use of digital capacitance meter and matters needing attention with the commonly used digital capacitance meter.

The upper part of the commonly used digital capacitance meter panel is a three-digit LCD screen with a maximum display reading of 1999. On the left side of the panel is the gear selection button, and the upper part of the right side is provided with a power switch, and the lower part of the power switch is the zero knob. The lower part of the panel is the jack of the measured capacitor, and the left is negative to the right.

The battery should be installed before the use of the digital capacitance meter. The battery compartment opens the battery compartment lid on the back of the table, and fastens a battery to the battery button and sets up the battery compartment. Turn on the power switch (POWER), and the LCD display should display "000".

For example, if the number of LCD display is not "000", then the slow rotation zero adjustment knob (ZERO) left and right until the display number is "000".

If a digital capacitance meter can measure the capacitance of 0.1pF~ 2000 mu F, it can be divided into 8 measuring gears and choose the 8 gear button switch on the left side of the body. When used, the size of the capacitance measured is selected to choose the appropriate position, and the electric capacity can be displayed as long as the corresponding gear button is pressed.

For example, measuring 8.2 micron F electrolytic capacitor, the shift is selected in the "20 F" gear, reading is "8.26", that is, the actual capacitance of the capacitor is 8.26 F.

When measuring the nonpolar capacitor, the capacitor is inserted into the socket without any positive or negative insertion. For example, when measuring the capacitance of 0. 15pF, the shift is selected at 2 F and the reading is "158", that is, the actual capacity of the capacitor is 0.158uF. When the display number of the display is "1", it means that the overflow is displayed, indicating that the selected gear is too small.
