This article describes the Parts of small DC motors and its steady speed

l  Parts of small DC motors

In the recorder, the function of the motor is to drive the mechanical transmission mechanism to rotate so that the magnetic tape can run at the required speed. The motors used in cassette recorder are all direct current (DC) motors. The DC motor mainly consists of three parts: stator, rotor and electric brush. The stator is a fixed part of a permanent magnet made of permanent magnets; the rotor is made up of a coil of soft magnetic material on silicon steel, and the brush is made up of two small carbon rods, fixed on the base of the stator, on the base of the stator, and in contact with the two electrodes on the rotor shaft. The electronic speed stabilizing motor also includes an electronic speed stabilizing plate.

l  The  DC motor's steady speed

(1) Mechanical stability

The mechanical speed is achieved by a centrifugal contact switch installed on the rotor of the motor, and the centrifugal switch is parallel to the resistance. When the rotor of the motor rotates too fast, the governor contact is left by the centrifugal force, and the power is added to the motor through the resistor R to reduce the voltage of the two ends of the motor and slow down the speed. When the motor speed is too slow, the centrifugal force becomes smaller, the governor contacts are closed, and the power supply is directly added to the motor without resistance, and the motor speed is accelerated.

(2) Eelectronic speed of stability

A device for stabilizing the speed of an electric motor by means of a transistor electronic circuit is called an electronic speed stabilizing device. The motor coil, resistors R1, R2 and R3 constitute a bridge circuit.

The current of the motor coil decreases and the motor speed decreases. Conversely, if the motor speed is too low, the motor coil current will be increased by the action of the transistor, so that the motor speed can be improved.

The electronic steady speed mode is more stable than the mechanical steady speed mode and the noise is low.

And many kinds of circuits are commonly used.

(3).Steady speed of servo motor

The motor is equipped with a servo generator.

When the motive is rotated, the generator is driven to rotate at the same time. The voltage produced by the generator is in direct proportion to the speed of the generator.
