When installing some electronic components on the board,something should be cared.

1. Crystal installation

The wafer inside the crystal is very brittle and should not be stressed or re-clamped during placement or handling.

2. Oscillator installation

The four pins in the oscillator are specified in sequence. Pay attention to the sequence when plug-in to avoid inserting the error, otherwise the oscillator will not work.

3. Inductor installation

Some shapes of inductors are inserted into the board with only one type of installation. This is determined by the shapes of the pins. Some inductors have multiple insertions, but only one can be inserted when the board is inserted, because the inductors are Polar. The number one pin of the inductor is indicated by a sharp corner. When inserting, it should be inserted into the white point on the board. The inductor must be inserted flat on the board.

4. Transformer installation

Some transformers have only one type of insertion when they are inserted into the board. This is determined by the configuration of the pins. However, only one direction can be inserted when inserting the board.

Because the transformer is polar, the first pin of the transformer is usually  mark by the white, or a hole or a pointed corner. The transformer must be plugged flat on the board.
