What is a sheet resistor?

 SMD / SMC is a new type of micro device without lead or short lead, the utility model is suitable for mounting on a printed board without a through hole, and is a special component for surface assembly technology. Sheet resistor is one of the most widely used components in SMD. The commonly used fixed patch resistors are rectangular resistors, cylindrical resistors and so on.

1. Rectangular sheet resistor mark recognition method :


(1) When the resistance value of the chip resistor is 5 %, three digital representations are used : the cross connection is recorded as 000 ( specially for the resistor of the cross connection ) also known as sheet-like cross connection resistors or zero resistance resistors ). If the resistance is less than 100, an " R " is added between the two digits; when the resistance is above 102, the last value indicates the number of zeros.


(2) When the resistance value of the chip resistor is 1 %, four digits are used : the first three digits are the effective number, and the fourth one is the added zero number; if the resistance is less than 100, the " R " is still added in the second place; the resistance is 100 days, and 0 in the fourth place.

The carbon film resistor is deposited on the cylindrical or tubular ceramic skeleton by the crystallization carbon which is decomposed by high temperature and high temperature, the resistance value is controlled by controlling the thickness and groove of the film. Carbon film resistors have axial leads, necktie leads and no leads, etc.



2.Performance characteristics

(1)The carbon film resistor has good stability, small negative temperature coefficient, good high frequency characteristic, little influence on voltage frequency, and small noise electromotive force, the utility model has the advantages of stable pulse load, wide resistance range, easy production, low production cost, low price, and wide application.

( 2 ) Resistance range 12 ~ 10Megohm.

( 3 ) rated power 1 / 8W, 1 / 4W, 1 / 2W, 1W, 2W, 5W and 10W. At present, the production and use of carbon film resistors have many varieties according to different uses and different characteristics, outside the ordinary carbon film resistor, there are high frequency or ultra high frequency carbon film resistors, such as RTCP rod-like UHF carbon film resistor, RTCP-Q button type UHF carbon film resistor, etc; there are also RTL measuring carbon film resistors and silicon carbon film resistors with smaller temperature coefficient and 100 kW power consumption carbon film resistors and precision carbon film resistors, etc.
