The 0444320601 connector is a two-piece, polarized header, single row, rectangular connecter. It has a male pin on one end to fit into a female socket on the mating part. This 0444320601 connector is a 2.54mm pitch terminal and is usually used in ITE (Information Technology Electronics) and BGA (Ball Grid Array) applications.ApplicationsThe 0444320601 connector is available with both Male and Female pins and has a hermaphroditic design which makes it compatible with other manufacturers’ products too. The connector finds its application in computer peripherals such as printers, scanners, fax machines as well as other IT and home automation products. It is also widely used in other industrial applications like automotive, medical, telecom and defense. The 0444320601 takes considerable advantage of its hermaphroditic design and is the choice of connector in many audio/visual and home entertainment applications. Working PrincipleThe 0444320601 connector has a contact that is frictionally secured to a cover which in turn is held together by a latching mechanism. The contact has a dimple on the contact tip which allows it to latch into the mating socket securely. This creates a good electrical connection and is highly reliable. The polarized design makes sure the pin gets inserted in the right orientation and the latching mechanism ensures the contact remains secured even in high vibration environments. The 0444420601 connector also has a protective shield over the contact which protects the contact from dust and dirt. The contact arrangement (Male or Female) is clearly marked to ensure easy identification and prevent misconnections. The 0444320601 connector is constructed with an insulating body which can resist a wide range of temperatures between -40°C and + 125°C. Available in 10, 20, 30 and 40 positions, the 0444320601 connector is widely used in a number of applications.
