Working PrincipleA 106SVL016MCW aluminum electrolytic capacitor stores and releases electrical energy by way of an underlying chemical reaction. The capacitor is composed of aluminum foil, which is etched through the etching process to provide a large surface area, a separator, and a sealing assembly.When a voltage is applied across the leads of the capacitor, the electrolyte contained within it is charged and an electric field is created across the capacitor. The energy is released as the electrical charge stored in the capacitor is dispersed, and the capacitor returns to its original state of no charge.
