Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

Aluminum electrolytic capacitors offer high capacitance in a small size. They consist of two electrodes which are separated by a thick liquid or gel electrolyte. An anode made from aluminum foil is rolled up into a cylinder and is coated with an oxide layer. A thin aluminum plate is then used to collect current from the anode. The cathode is made from an activated carbon or a Tin-Oxide layer. The anode and cathode are then connected to a dielectric which is usually made from tantalum. Between these dielectrics lies the electrolyte, which allows an electric current to flow between the two electrodes.

One of the most popular types of aluminum electrolytic capacitors is the 107CKE400M. This type of capacitor is constructed using a non-polarized aluminum electrolytic capacitor with a dielectric of Tantalum. This type of capacitor offers a high capacitance and excellent temperature characteristics, as well as great stability over time.

The 107CKE400M is used in a variety of application fields. It can be used in medical-device equipment and audio amplifiers, as well as in automotive and computer applications.
