Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are both one of the most important and most widely used types of capacitors. They are used in hundreds of applications, ranging from power supply filtering, pulsed power supplies, analog circuitry, RF circuits and more. The aluminum electrolytic capacitor, also known as an electrolytic, is an electrochemical device consisting of two electrodes, an anode and a cathode, and an anodic electrolyte. Aluminum electrolytic capacitors offer capacitance values ranging from the 1uF to 12000 uF, in sizes from a few millimeters to several centimeters, with a rated operating temperature range from -40C degrees to 105C degrees. Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are known as "wet" capacitors and are characterized by their long life, high performance and rugged construction.

107TTA350M Application Field and Working Principle

107TTA350M aluminum electrolytic capacitors are used in various applications such as DC-link, back-up power, AC-Motor start and reactor filter, etc. The working principle is based on the theory of applied voltages creating an electric field between the anodic and cathodic surfaces of the device, forming an anode and cathode ions, which either increase or decrease the electric field potential, thus altering the charge and discharging the capacitor.
