A 1N3269 is a semiconductor device known as a single rectifier in the Electronics Industry. Single rectifier diodes are commonly used to convert alternating current (AC), which is electricity constantly changing direction, into direct current (DC), which is electricity that flows in one constant direction. This device was specifically built with a voltage rating of 45 volts and 500 milliamperes (mA) of continuous forward current.

The single rectifier is realized by exploiting the differences between N-type and P-type material in a semiconductor diode.
